AI & API Ruby on Rails Engineer

  • Responsibilities encompass crafting and upholding dependable Ruby code, demonstrating a profound understanding of the Rails framework, and mastering object-oriented programming, design patterns, and relational databases.
  • A strong grasp of typical fine-tuning methods and architectural principles for AI-driven applications. A comprehensive knowledge of app architecture relying on large language models (LLM) and the engineering of AI prompts.
  • Proficiency and understanding, along with expertise, in building and sustaining API services at a significant scale. Proficiency in defining suitable REST pathways while simultaneously experimenting with GraphQL as a secondary approach.
  • You will be tasked with estimating and executing development assignments, which include coding, requirements gathering, and analysis, all with some feedback and guidance from your team. Active participation in planning sessions to enhance comprehension of significant architectures and design patterns is also expected.
  • In addition, your role involves composing unit tests and conducting rigorous testing to ensure the code's quality and dependability, as well as troubleshooting and resolving issues that surface during testing, whether in production or non-production environments.
  • Prior experience with cloud services, particularly Amazon Web Services (AWS) such as EC2 and S3, is highly desirable, as is familiarity with working on Linux-based bare-metal infrastructure.
